ESDO believes that every purchase in personal and professional life has the potential to drive change. As a result, ESDO will always prioritise sustainable, environmentally friendly, exploitation free goods and services when making purchasing decisions. We do this because we wish to both support and encourage the change we seek to make the in the world.    

As a result, ESDO conducts a risk-based assessment of all suppliers and this will require the provision of certain basic information and documents from all suppliers identified as the preferred supplier for a procurement.

This assessment may mean some suppliers need to undergo enhanced due diligence checks. Where enhanced due diligence is required, ESDO will support preferred suppliers to complete these checks prior to contract award.
